The Samuel Eells Literary and Educational Foundation has launched a new web site at samueleells.org. The web site includes information about SELEF's mission and purpose, Literary Contest, and Seward Scholarships. If you would like to make a tax deductible donation to the Samuel Eells Literary and Educational Foundation's Chamberlain Fund to support the Society's educational and literary-related efforts, please click here.

Delegates to the 2009 Alpha Delta Phi Society Convention and Leadership Training Conference passed a series of resolutions about Society operations. Under the Society's Constitution, the Convention is the supreme legislative body of our organization.

The Alpha Delta Phi Society is given the opportunity to publish a page once a year in the Fraternity's Xaipe newsletter. This option exists pursuant to the negotiated agreement that resulted in the separation of the Alpha Delta Phi Society from The Alpha Delta Phi Fraternity in 1992.

It was an exciting weekend at the Middletown Chapter House at 185 High Street in Middletown, Connecticut. Just 16 hours after pledging twenty-three members of the Wesleyan University community, the chapter hosted the first initiation ceremony for the Granite Affiliate Chapter, based at the University of New Hampshire.

It is my honor to welcome the Granite Affiliate at the University of New Hampshire to the Alpha Delta Phi Society.

The Society has made expansion its top priority, and I am pleased an exceptional group of students has taken this step to affiliate with the Alpha Delta Phi Society.

Earlier this month, Michael Roth, Middletown 1978, was inaugurated as Wesleyan's 16th president.

Earlier this year, the Wesleyan Argus published an article about Roth that discussed his undergraduate years, including his term as president of the Middletown Chapter during an important time in the coeducational history of the Alpha Delta Phi Society.
