Member Volunteer Opportunities

The Society Board of Governors and Executive Council are hard at work for our chapters and alumni, and are always looking for help from our members, both undergrad and alumni.

The following committees and initiatives currently have a need for volunteer help from our membership.
If you would like to help with one of these projects, please email your name, chapter and year, along with a note of which project/s interest you, to volunteer@adps.org.

Granite Chapter Tops UNH Greek Life Spring 2010 Academic Rankings

UNH Greek Life released the Spring 2010 academic rankings and once again our Granite Chapter is on top of them all for Member and New Member grade point averages above their campus average.

They also received special recognition from the UNH Dean of Greek Life in the campus announcement, stating "The men and women of Alpha Delta Phi deserve additional accolades for finishing with GPAs above their campus average in every documented area."

Middletown Chapter Awards and Honors 2009-2010

The Middletown Chapter proudly acknowledges the awards and honors earned by our members during the 2009-2010 academic year at Wesleyan University.

Of our graduating seniors, two received degrees with University Honors, seven received Departmental High Honors, and two received Departmental Honors. Five members were elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

In addition, our members received 14 academic prizes, including:

Samuel Eells Literary and Educational Foundation Launches New Web Site

The Samuel Eells Literary and Educational Foundation has launched a new web site at samueleells.org. The web site includes information about SELEF's mission and purpose, Literary Contest, and Seward Scholarships. Resolutions Passed at the 2009 Boston Convention

Delegates to the 2009 Alpha Delta Phi Society Convention and Leadership Training Conference passed a series of resolutions about Society operations. Under the Society's Constitution, the Convention is the supreme legislative body of our organization.

The Alpha Delta Phi Society is given the opportunity to publish a page once a year in the Fraternity's Xaipe newsletter. This option exists pursuant to the negotiated agreement that resulted in the separation of the Alpha Delta Phi Society from The Alpha Delta Phi Fraternity in 1992.

Game Month in Boston!

To celebrate Spring and the end of our New England hibernation, the Boston Area Regional Graduate Organization is having a Month of Games.
This April, there's a game night happening every weekend!

Sat. 4/5 1-4pm: Parlor Games (Taboo, Balderdash, Apples-to-Apples, etc.) in Arlington with Jen
Sun. 4/13 6-10pm: Under-an-hour Board Games (Clue, Carcassonne, Fluxx, etc) in Cambridge with Anna
Mon. 4/21 2-10pm: All-Afternoon Games (Settlers of Catan, Buffy the Game, etc) in Somerville with Andrea & Corey
