Granite Chapter Tops UNH Greek Life Spring 2010 Academic Rankings

UNH Greek Life released the Spring 2010 academic rankings and once again our Granite Chapter is on top of them all for Member and New Member grade point averages above their campus average.

They also received special recognition from the UNH Dean of Greek Life in the campus announcement, stating "The men and women of Alpha Delta Phi deserve additional accolades for finishing with GPAs above their campus average in every documented area."

Middletown Chapter Awards and Honors 2009-2010

The Middletown Chapter proudly acknowledges the awards and honors earned by our members during the 2009-2010 academic year at Wesleyan University.

Of our graduating seniors, two received degrees with University Honors, seven received Departmental High Honors, and two received Departmental Honors. Five members were elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

In addition, our members received 14 academic prizes, including:

Members of ADP-NYC are Alpha Delta Phi alumni and undergraduates living in
the greater New York City area. We're here to socialize with each other,
support each other in creative and artistic endeavors, promote literary
events and support the Columbia Undergraduate Chapter of the Alpha Delta
Phi Society in any way we can.

Welcome to our new Penn Affiliate!

We are pleased to announce the beginning of a new Affiliate. On April 5, 2010, the Society Board of Governors has granted affiliate status to a group of 8 freshman and one sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania.

This group will be known as the Adelphi Society publicly, as required by the Fraternity-Society Separation Agreement. The Society's Board of Governors plans to make a good-faith request to the Fraternity to waive this Separation Agreement requirement.

Their pledging ceremony occurred on the afternoon of April 10th. Their initiation was Saturday, April 24th.

Granite Awarded Charter, Becomes Granite Chapter

The 10th Convention of the Alpha Delta Phi Society on March 19, 2010, voted unanimously to grant Granite at the University of New Hampshire full chapter status and issue them a charter. Congratulations to Granite on becoming a full chapter of the Society.

ADPS RGOs

The Alumni of the Alpha Delta Phi Society have created several Regional Graduate Organizations (RGOs) across the country as part of the Life Long Experience for alumni to stay in touch with the Phi and meet and network with fellow siblings in their region.

Our current RGOs are:

adpsBoston - the Boston-area graduate organization.

AD|DC - the DC-area graduate organization.

ADP-NYC - the New York-area graduate organization.

ADPS-Chicago - the Chicago-area graduate organization.

BayDPhi Society - the Northern California graduate organization.

ADPS-NW - the Pacific Northwest graduate organization.

Granite Affiliate Wins UNH Greek Life Award for Outstanding Values-based Recruitment Program

The Society congratulates our Granite Affiliate, which was awarded the University of New Hampshire Greek Life Award for Outstanding Values-based Recruitment Program. This Award recognizes our Granite Affiliate for its selection process, which best embodies the values of its National and UNH Greek Life in its recruitment, selection, training, and retention of new members. It is further recognition of the success that our Granite Affiliate has had becoming not just a part, but an example of the best aspects of Greek Life at the University of New Hampshire.
