The Alpha Delta Phi Society's day-to-day operations are managed by its officers and Board of Governors.

Pursuant to a Constitutional Amendment ratified in 2006, the Board consists of 12 graduate members, elected to staggered three-year terms, and four undergraduate members, elected to staggered one-year terms.

The Alpha Delta Phi Society was formed in 1992 by four chapters which had previously been associated with the Alpha Delta Phi Fraternity.

Samuel Eells, the inspired Hamilton College graduate who founded Alpha Delta Phi, wrote its Covenant and determined its ideals, must always be a source of interest to later brothers.

Statement of Intent

At the Alpha Delta Phi Society's Fifth Convention in 2001, delegates drafted a Statement of Intent, a description of the Society designed for use in promotional materials.

The Alpha Delta Phi Society is a literary society and one of North America's foremost co-educational Greek-letter institutions, with five active chapters.

Samuel Eells Literary and Educational Foundation

The Samuel Eells Literary and Educational Foundation was founded in August 1961. The Foundation is a corporation that makes grants and loans to chapters, individuals, and educational institutions.
